Madeleine West has revealed watching pornography gave her a warped view on sex after her split from long-term part.

'I immediately started comparing my body to those of women half my age, and considering how they would "do it",' she wrote.
The actress said she'd done her fair share of intimate scenes for film and television in the past, but had come to realise she was sexiest when she was herself. 
Candid: The mother of six, 41, spoke about her relationship with porn in her latest column for Mamamia on Tuesday, which accompanies her Restart podcast 
'Simple fact is, through trial, error, and a few belly laughs, I've discovered I am at my sexiest when I'm just being me,' she wrote.
'I've learnt to like my skin, I live in it; it's only job is to fit the big life I live.'
Madeleine went on to say she was proud of her body for bringing her six children to the world.

'I love this body, it's brought six exceptional little human beings into the world yet still manages to jump off waterfalls, plant forests and deliver outstanding hugs,' she said.

Madeleine announced her split from chef Shannon in 2018 after 13 years of dating.
The former couple, who never married, share six children, Phoenix, Hendrix, Xascha, Xanthe, Xahlia and Margaux.

Madeleine, who is now dating Byron Bay environmentalist Maximo Bottaro, said a year after the split she was unlikely to ever get back together with Shannon.
'I'm a big believer that everything in life has a season. We change. We evolve,' she told The Kyle and Jackie O Show in 2019.
'At some point we go, "Well, I have certain needs I want to have met and you've got certain needs and if the two don't combine and cross in the middle, why fight it and be miserable?"

'I don't think that's fair to the children either to see two parents that are constantly across purposes.'
She brushed off questions about a potential 'love interest' at the time and joked she was living 'like a monk'.
Madeleine previously told Stellar magazine in 2018 she and Shannon were 'striving to reconnect as friends and parents'.
