The set 1067 Flying Dutchman is a Mega Bloks Pirates of the Caribbean set released in 2006. The set contains a highly detailed model of Davy Jones ship, The Flying Dutchman. Also included are four minifigures of a colour-changing Davy Jones (you just need to dip it in cold water for it to change colour), Admiral Norrington, Bootstap Bill, and Penrod the cursed crewman. This set contains 240 pieces.
Description
The Flying Dutchman is a ghost ship that sails above and below the ocean’s surface and is captained by Davy Jones and crewed by lost men condemned to serve until their final judgment, the Flying Dutchman is usually spotted from afar, glowing with ghostly light.
With this Flying Dutchman set you get to sail your very own Flying Dutchman and search down debt-owing pirates attempting to skirt their fate with Calypso. The sides and front of this massive ship feature glow-in-the-dark capability, offering an eerie presence on the high seas. It is also armed with legendary weaponry, and the two launching cannons allow you to engage in battle with enemies on the open water. Other accessories include real fabric sails, a zip line, functioning deck panels, and the captain’s organ.
Davy Jones tentacle beard will change colors when it touches cold water, which is to be expected for a man sailing the ocean.
