The 96869 Covenant Brute Prowler set is a Mega Bloks Halo set released in 2011 as part of the Halo Ten Year Anniversary. The set contains a Type-52 Infantry Support Vehicle, the Brute Prowler, along with 3 minifigures of a UNSC Orange Spartan-II with battle rifle and two Blue Covenant Brutes with a Brute Shot and a Spiker. This set contains 173 pieces.
Description
The Covenant Brute Prowler set contains a Type-52 Infantry Support Vehicle which is also known as the Brute Prowler. It is a 2 man Covenant anti-gravity, medium support unit used exclusively by the Jiralhanae, or Brutes. The Brute Prowler is armed with a front-mounted, 360-degree rotating plasma turret that is operated by a single gunner. With a gunner in front and driver at the rear, this heavily armored unit can plow through UNSC vehicles while the turret allows for eliminating infantry forces with ease. Its large "jump seat" runners give it surprising stability in addition to extra space for more Brutes to ride along, attacking with additional long or short-range weapons. Also included in the set is a Spartan-II with battle rifle and two Brutes with a shot and spiker.
