The set 3681 Battle for Treasure Island is a Mega Bloks Pyrates set that was released in 2005. The set builds into a 3D model of Treasure Island. Also included are 5 minifigures of Admiral Blue Beard and Scabby Buckbeard both Privateers, Musket Monroe a Sea Marauder and Seadaemon and Bilge Treader both members of the Skeleton Crew. This set contains 210 pieces.
Description
Treasure Island is the resting place of the Lord Pyrate and also supposedly the location of his secret treasure. The set can be built into 2 different versions of the island either with two forts attacking each other from different sides of the island or as a taller tower set.
The set has hidden treasure reveal feature on the summit where you press the palm tree which activates a secret spring-loaded panel that pops up the grave to reveal the Lord of the Pyrates special treasure. Other pieces included in the set are falling boulders, 2 launching cannons, a sail boat, a shark, a rope bridge, a pier, an adjustable zipline, a prison with a trap door and a secret escape door, a waterfall and a spike pit.
The set all comes in a great Treasure Chest shaped box.
